World War II & The Cold War w/Annotated Bibliography
This assignment has multiple parts and specific reference criteria that must be met. Specific instructions are detailed in the attached document “UNIT VII – SCHOLARLY ACTIVITY INSTRUCTIONS”. Criteria for this essay include utilizing three different types of sources: 1) one peer-reviewed article on WWII; 2) one primary source during WWII discussing either Stalin or Churchill; and 3) one book by a historian regarding the emergence of superpowers in the Cold War. An annotated bibliography is required for each of these sources. To create a properly formatted annotated bibliography, please see the attached document “HELPFUL TIPS”, step 5. Each of the questions in step 5 must be answered in the annotation for each source. Next write one page that includes an opening thesis statement comparing 20th-century superpowers to 19th-century imperial powers. Then relate the rise of the superpowers in the Cold War to differing political philosophies among the Grand Alliance nations during WWII. A total of five references, including the three with annotations, must be used for this paper. I’ve also uploaded the UNIT VII STUDY GUIDE for your information.
